The Barn

Our Barn offers you a beautiful and most unusual setting for your wedding ceremony with many opportunities for photographs in and around the Barn and the walled garden.

The Barn is a magnificent 17^th century timber-framed and thatched barn. It was moved and restored in 2000 from its former home in the path of the rail link for the Channel Tunnel to an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty just outside Tenterden.

The Reception

The venue is also suited to a variety of types of reception. You may use the Barn itself, the surrounding garden. You are free to use caterers of your choice to suit your individual requirements and budget. 

Possibilities include:

• drinks and canapés

• a finger buffet

• a barbeque

• a sit down meal

• a picnic

• cream teas

 Be as creative as you like. Entertainment could include live music or even a barn dance.

The Ceremony

The Barn can be set up in various ways for the ceremony with guests seated either inside or outside.

Hire of the Barn

You may hire the barn on any day from May - October until 9pm, unless dusk is earlier. This is a planning restriction.
